A flame what?

NFS07

Stolen
A Flame Orange Blotched Kingsnake is what she was listed as. Never seen or heard of one before but the 6th time I went to look at her I decided to get her. There were two left, I got one and my friend got another. If I get pictures from her I will show you all but for now you just get to see my new girl!

Her and her sister

I promise that after I snapped a few pics I put her in the cage and left her alone.

I feel that she is going to make a great second snake! She is still unnamed, any ideas?

In the show picture, of the two. I have the top one, my friend got the bottom one. The bottom on was darker and larger. This is her first snake so I gave her the larger one hoping that there wont be any feeding problems or if there are it will last a bit longer.

BTW, this little girl weighs 18 grams when I got my corn he weighed 12 grams, I don't remember him being so small!

THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL! I've got one... "Relena" but, while I think she's beautiful, she loses hands down to both of those little ones. CONGRATS!

Great pics too!

I know what she is! Florida King x Eastern King, which is an intergrade, not a hybrid. I have one, too!! Jewel! She had that look like yours does, like Riesen candy, when she was young but lately she's turned into this goldeny thing! Still beautiful!! People are doing selective breeding to get that high orange color in the Floridas, now. I got my Jewel from Mike B. (Mike, where are you???) I saw him buy her at a show, at a time when I was very good at resisting new snakes. I was insanely jealous of her beauty. And a while later, I got to handle her at Mike's house, and she was just the sweetest thing! And one day, Mike gave her to me!!! I was in heaven! She's the best back-up snake ever, to eat what the picky corns refuse...I'm sure you will love yours. Look at her adorable little kingsnake face! I love kingsnakes...

Thanks for the comments.

Nanci can you post picks of yours grown? Trying to get an idea of what she will look like.

Sepetember 2008: (this was the big change, the golden spots in the centers of her black scales are getting a lot bigger!)
