No- that guy _let_ the hoggy chew on him to see what would happen. Now we all know! Thanks for taking one for the team! We have learned, if a hoggy bites you (which feels like a piece of velcro hooking on- you can barely tell!) do not let it chew- remove it from your hand right away!
I have a tri-color that sometimes bites because he hopes he is going to get fed and gets excited. I was all freaked out after seeing that bite webpage for a while, but I got over it. I just don't let him chew- just take him off the second he bites. I think he was triggered by the smell of soap, and stopped using soap around him- I just use gel hand cleaner. They are smarter than you'd think- he thought if I washed my hands, he was going to get fed.
