Up all night
So Dante has been acting strangely lately. Last week I went on a trip to my parents house for a week or so and when I got back I noticed that there was no water in his dish. I admit that this is probably my fault because I forgot to check it before I left. Anyway I filled his water and took him out and he seemed pretty lethargic, when I put him back in I directed him to the water dish and he took a few big drinks and then went back to his hide. He is about to shed, so I understand that he would be in his hide more, but it seems to be taking a lot longer than normal for him to shed this time. Its been at least three days since hes been out of the blue stage and usually it only takes about one. Maybe I am just being paranoid but just thought I'd put it out there and see if there are any known reasons why this could be. Thanks ;)

Kenny... it wouldn't hurt to soak Dante in a tub of water. This'll do 2 things... 1) if he's still a little dehydrated, he will absorb some water through his cloaca. 2) it will assist a bit in his shed. Giving him a 'moist hide' is a good idea, too.

But... everything will be fine either way, most likely. I have very very little experience, but I have been noticing that all of my little ones seem to be taking a day or two longer to shed. Maybe it's them getting older/larger... maybe it's the weather... maybe it's other environmental factors. I guess come spring/summer I'll have a better idea if winter did it.
 
My ghost did the same thing (took longer than usual to shed after coming out of blue), but then I soaked him a bit and he shed that night. Whether or not the soaking and then shedding is related, I can't be certain. If anything, it probably encouraged him to do it. Good luck!
 
I forgot to mention in my last post that he also hasn't eaten in almost 20 days. This I think is more to do with that fact that I tried to feed him while he was in shed. But he did refuse his last meal so I'm not sure. I was also thinking of soaking him but I was not sure if that was a good idea when he hasn't eaten in so long. But on the up side I guess I don't have to worry about a regurge :p. Thanks ;)
