I'm normally impaired
Well Some of you might have read my story about the unknown hypo I have and the strange results I got from him this year, if not look here.
http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showpost.php?p=474983&postcount=42

So the Second clutch from piss (yellow snow) was hatching when I got home from the show and nothing looked to odd until this little one came out!!!
At first I just thought it was another great Rev Okettee like the others until I pulled it out and looked a little closer. The eye's have ruby pupels and Blue iris!!!!
and the borders are a gray color not white.

So what do I have a Reverse Ultra oak :grin01:

The pictures do not show the eye real good, its more than just the normal black spot alot of young amels have.
I will get some eye pics post shed.

I was at a Havre de Grace show last month here in Md. I had a table so I wasnt able to look around to much but at the end of the show I was tlaking to another friends who said one table had some crazy looking amels so I walked over and there were three amels the guy didnt even put out on the table becasue he wanted to see what they were. I looked at one and asked how much he wanted, so I paid 30 bucks for her. Upon bringing her home I am convinced that she is nother to new or crazy but a really nice RO. She has even less orange than this guy, I will post some pics of her and you tell me what you think.

... very interesting

I can't wait to see more photo's after it sheds!

That hatchling has a very cool look. Too bad it probably won't look that way for long... :(

It would be cool if it kept those colors but I can't kid my self into knowing they wont change.
I hope the borders stay though!

I have to agree with you.. even with these pics you can tell the eyes are 'right' colored lol :) They have the blue/red like the 'normals' I have... I am really interested in what it will look like after it sheds... and a year from now too :grin01:

Reverse Oke Ultra

I have been thinking the the best Ultra would be with a Reverse Oke. This way the large black borders would be purplish as in the one you picture. If your was only an amel it wouldn't have colored irises. Less interesting to me are the Ultra stripes, where the black is normally reduced.

You might want to take some pics after the first shed. The colors might change a bit and we could have a better look at what you actually have.

I know what it is!

Especially since both of the parents came from me ,being that the male was proven ultramel, the female was from flouresent orange reverse okeetees so its a ultramel reverse okeetee! wow congrats Tim!

That's an awesome snake!! I did a similar breeding this year. My golddust het mot was bread to my extreme RO. I go two nice ROs from that, and one incredible ultramel het caramel that appears to have inherited a little okeetee look. I couldn't call it an okeetee if I wanted to but I am thinking of breeding the little girl to an RO male, if I can get a breeding trade for one in a few years to get a really good ultra okeetee.

But jeez, that guy is incredible!!!! Can't wait for a post shed pic! And I'll have pictures of mine in a day or so.

Well he has had 2 meals now and shed.
The reds brightened up but he still has the wicked cool boarders!
He was not to interested in pictures so they are not the best ;)
