A Third Snake, Maybe?

Here's one wall.

Oh, my, goodness.
That is fantastic. Thank you for sharing!!

The only thing better I could think of would be if they all had glass fronts ;)

Looking up species of snakes, I am reminded that I may be moving in a year and a half (will be graduated university and going wherever the wind blows... me a job). The laws across the provinces in Canada are ridiculous. I AM TALKING TO YOU, ALBERTA. Can't have hognoses, can't have any boids, blah blah blah the list is enormous.
Thankfully I am looking to move to B.C., where the laws are quite similar to Ontario's.

Hmmph.

Wow, someplace more restrictive than Maine ! I think we are honorary Canadians anyways. It's as common to see the Canadian flag flying here as it is the Maine state flag.

yeah I would second a milk snake, that's the second I got and I have no regrets!

he's totally different then my corn, is out and about way more then my corn, although he does fling poop here and there lol it's a small prices to pay for how cute he is!

and his feeding response is off the wall so there's no worries of refused mice like with a male hognose...

and depending on what type of milk you get they come in soo many different sizes!
from the 6 foot Hondurans, corns sized pueblens and my 19 inch Mexican..

and if you consider a black milk, like stated above no need for a thermostat or UTH..

I think there's honestly a milk snake for just about everyone if you look into them.
and there just beautiful to look at IMO.

Those are Animal Plastics Economy Plastic 66 quarts. I used to think that going to plastic bins would make it so I couldn't see them. I have found that I can see them just fine. I love being able to rearrange them according to who is breeding, etc. and to be able to completely remove a bin for thorough cleaning.

Thank you Justine, that is very helpful :) milk snake was what I had initially thought about for my third snake (actually, to be honest I wanted one before a corn snake but got talked into corns by someone else! No regrets)

There's an adult black milk snake at our local reptile store, and I'm surprised at how big he is!

I am at the same point as you (considering a second snake). Personally I think the tri-color hognoses are TOO cute. Also, the herpetology department at my university has a sand boa that is kept exclusively in sand. He loves to burrow in it and burrows INSTANTLY when returned to his viv. But you know, you can never go wrong with another corn.... ;)

All the adults have those Target Wine Cube boxes for hides. I put crumpled wine bottle bags inside them (for recycling- you can't really use them for anything else!) Madras, the aberrant Okeetee on loan from Troy and Jarrett, is ALWAYS inside her bag, in the box. I don't put the bag in there so it's easy to get into- I just crunch it up and stuff it in- but she is in it without fail. Some of them have hammocks, too- the ones who will use them. Snakes in hammocks make me smile.
