Well, as the title says my AC went out. Luckily it is October so the outside temps here aren't too bad, but it is still a little warm in the house. Right now it is up to 88 degrees. The problem is management is taking their sweet time getting to me "on the list" and so I don't know how long we will be without AC.
I have put an ice cube in each of the snakes water bowls too create a cool spot. And I have fans running in the room where the snakes are.Since I am in AZ I haven't been using any heat source so they are usually at a room temp range of 78-82 degrees depending on the time of day.
Would it be more stressful to move everyone to a friends house than to deal with a little warmer temps for a short time? I don't want them to overheat but I don't want to move everyone if I don't need to either.
 
I think you'll be fine at that temp, even for a few days. The night temps will naturally drop anyway. I definitely wouldn't hassle with moving them.

FWIW, I'd recommend not putting ice into the water. If the snake decides to soak a bit, it might make for a chilling experience. I know I personally hate cold showers.....

I've just been putting a small cube in every couple of hours to keep the water cool so they can cool off by just laying by the bowl (small plastics)if they want to. Actually our one snow Polar Bear seems to like the chilled water :) and has been checking it out every time I put in a new cube.
So far everyone seems to be doing pretty well with the temps. I just want them to be comfy. Thanks for the reply.
 
So far still no AC, but the snakes seem to be tolerating it pretty well. Even though it did get up to 91 degrees in late afternoon.
I actually woke up to three perfect sheds :), (and the weird poo/regurge thing-different thread).
I'm looking on the bright side.With all the shedding this week and the warmer temps, maybe everyone will eat this week :D
