And the tiny specks of pigment here and there on the individual scales is really interesting, too!

didn't expect that the adult lavender motley would be that dark in color but that is a very interesting animal!
 
is it just me...

is it just me or do the lavs hold real good motley markings. Its just that every pic of a lav. motley, hatchling or adult, have beautifully perfect circles all the way down.

ACTUALLY, it's probably just because they belong to rich :D , heh. Good looking snake there.

GORGEOUS animal. And I am not normally a Lav person. But I must say I have liked the motley lavs I have seen, and this guy is SUPERB!!!
