Haven't updated in a while.

Here's Jake <3

He's a late late 07.

and Im not the greatest at taking pictures. I wasn't sure of what colors I should put him on or any techniques to use when taking my pictures, so any advice would be nice also :) .

uh ohhh...I guess im in trouble i posted my bearded dragon :sidestep: I JUST read the non-corn sticky post.... but idk how to delete the picture it's not letting me edit...

Thats a purrty Butter Corn there. I woulda named him Pop, so I can call him Popcorn. ;)

You should be fine, most people round here like lizards too, and most of your pics were of your corn. They just want to topics to stay on corns. Good lookin Beardie too.

Thanks! That makes me feel better, thought I would be in trouble haha. Also he's not a butter corn, even though that would be nice too and yes that would be cute also to call him Pop :D, but he's an albino jungle corn. A hybrid. I'm not sure the exact genetics of his parents because at the time when I bought him I wasn't too interested in the whole genetics thing, just bought him cause I knew he was my guy. All I know for sure, and of what I can remember the breeder telling me, is that one of his parents was a corn snake and the other a king snake.

The yellow threw me off. He did look a little odd for a corn so hybrid makes sense. Very pretty though!

Aw he is a handsome guy.

As far as I know Jungle Corns are a mix between Corn and California Kingsnake. I'm not sure about other types of King/corn hybrids. I would assume they would be called something else. But I'm not all in the "know" about hybrids. Then you got the different morphs of corns and kings so it gets even more confusing. :)
 
I don't generally care for jungle corns, but Jake is AMAZING!!! (Maybe because he looks quite kingsnakey to me!!)

Gorgeous dragon, too. What morph is he? He looks _very_ healthy.

Frankenstein was labeled a Red Bearded Dragon. Once again didn't get much further into the genetics then that... I know I need to start finding these things out! hahaha Frankenstein was actually quite ill when I got him and was also the runt of his family, but he's doing great now :)


and thank you everyone for the compliments on Jake! He's such a sweet lil guy, love him so much.
 
Your Jake looks much like a Jungle I recently sold, very nice! Also your beardie looks like one I saw labeled as a Sunfire. :shrugs:
