All I can say is WOW

does anyone know what kind of sprayers and that pump thing he used? I have a project with my vivariums that I'd like to add some sprayers that work off a pump, but I can't find anything like what he's got. any help appreciated.

BTW, yes, that man is a genius

Well this isn't a pump but its a nice system anyway. You use an Electronic 6-Station Sprinkler Timer, which is something you may want.

My brother set up a system for when I had my 5.5 foot female Iguana (R.I.P) was on a timer and everything. It sprayed twice a day.She loved it.

OKay that was beyond impressive..That was gorgous! I wish I could make that kind of environment for my snakes..they would love it..

Thats a dart frog viv if I ever did see one! Seriously, dart frog keepers always have the most amazing natural vivariums. And I don't know many other creatures that would need such high humidity. What a viv!

well, I posted on this asking about the kind of pump and sprayers he uses. I found out on my own pretty much that he bought it as a kit from a company called MistKing. you can find their products online at www.mistking.com they sell the whole system he purchased for about 120 US dollars. they also ship to countries in europe and asia. so if any of you were interested in the misters like I was then I found it. happy hunting.

Does anyone know what kind of cleaning/maintenance is done to these enclosures? I would hope that it'd be mostly self-sustaining.

The cleaning would depend on what animals and how many you put in there. I think Elle nailed it, that is a poison dart frog viv. They would probably not need cleaning very often. The eat fruit flies and their poop is small. With all the humidity and the live plants, it would probably break down back into dirt. If he put an undergravel filter in there for the fish, they probably wouldn't need much either. Any fruit flies that end up in the water would become fish poop.

I think that would be really fun to spend some time researching and planning something like that.
