Alternative feeders?

airenlow

hope is not a strategy
I know some people have to scent their feeder mice with anoles but does anybody feed actual anoles to their corns? I was walking around the local pet shop and the little light bulb went off in my head. At $5 a pop it would get a little expensive! Sorry for the randomness...just wondering

I have a couple of non-corns (an African house snake and a Honduran milksnake) that were demanding live. They're not even little baby snakes. I started scenting their f/t with anoles, and now they're taking them! Yeah, the anoles are $6 a pop, but one will provide months' worth of scenting. Better than the $3+ per pop the live mouse and rat pinks were costing me...

Some people feed anoles to their corns, especially to finicky hatchlings. Not me. If a hatchling demands more than anole-scenting, it is culled...
