Sorry that I've been kind of out of touch here lately. I've also fallen WAY behind in my emails. Breeding season is starting to kick in gear, and like an idiot I got us scheduled to do that show in Jacksonville, FL this weekend. Must have been outta my mind!

I wish I could say that I'll get caught up in the near future, but things look like they are going to get worse before they get better. I try to catch up on a few of the emails each night, but those people asking me questions that will take a good 20 minutes or more to answer are just not going to get responded to anytime soon. I am sorry about that, but there is only so much time in a day.

I've hired two part time workers over the last several weeks and they are doing a really great job for me. I have no idea how I would have gotten by lately without their help. And of course my wife is holding everything together while I concentrate on the stuff that needs to be done that only I can do.

Anyway, I thank everyone that is participating on this site helping out the people that would likely be emailing me if they didn't have you all to come to with their questions.

And at least this site doesn't get lawsuits thrown at me!

Lawsuits? What Lawsuits? We don't need no stinking lawsuits!!! Whew, Rich!! Do you ever get used to it? I mean, as many times as it has happened do you ever really get to where you don't worry about them to much? To where you don't lose any sleep over them?
I DO understand how breeding season does take a lot of your time. I know people complain and whine when they don't get an answer to their email.(myself included) I guess it's a catch 22 kind of situation. In one way or another your damned if you do and your damned if you don't.
On the flip side, I hope you can understand why people may get upset when they don't recieve any answer after three or four days. After all, you are one of the leading breeders in this field.
Bottom line. I can't speak for anyone else but I do understand how this can be a problem and I HOPE other people will to!! I know you work hard to do the best that you can.

I know how hard it is to just maintain my 40+ snakes, taking care of 100's and 1,000's- whew! I can't even begin to comprehend.

jazzgeek, Mr. Guest is running around digging up threads from 4 years ago, and posting horrible Japanese spam links. They really ought to get deleted, as they're probably just designed to mess with Google's pagerank or something.

i am not a long timer, but would like to say thank you for at least having this forum. i have learned alot and met (not personally yet, but better than nothing) some very nice people here. thanks again.
 
Well four years later, and it's about the same story around here. Maybe worse because times seems to fly by awfully darn quickly lately. So I feel like I am able to accomplish much less in the same amount of time then what I used to be able to do. Getting to bed at 4 am is more the rule then the exception lately.............

I sold off over 400 adults and I don't think it is going to make much difference at all next breeding season. Got a LOT of new breeders that will be filling those now vacant cages.

And, of course, the Daytona Beach Expo is next weekend...... :eek1: :eek1:

Oh yeah, almost forgot.... Yes, I know people have sent me emails and PMs, but I just can't get to them all. Sorry, but the workload is such that I do have to set priorities, and the animals HAVE to be at the top of the list.
