My husband and I are going to the Anaheim herp show next weekend. I am looking at buying a snake for myself. Anyone have any suggestions of the retailers before I go?

I am not sure who will be there, but there is probably a vendor list on their website, so you can browse ahead of time to know who to expect. There are always lots of great, well-known vendors at Bob's Chicago show, so I think there will be a lot to choose from here too!

Stop by and say "HI" - I plan to be there.

Man.. if only I could go.. there is a vendor list on their site, and it is packed with awesome people.. I had the same questions Kathy, will you be selling at the CA and Tucson shows? I would love to pick up something from you.. :) We'll be in touch when you're in Mesa :)

BUMMER! I don't get to go after all.

After checking the road conditions in the southern states, and the price and availability of gas and hotels as we drive through the hurricane hit areas, we have decided it is too risky and expensive to drive as we had planned. So now all of our plans have changed at the last minute.

Bill is going to fly out to Cal. and take the usual stuff to sell, including some orders for people who had deposits. He also is in charge of the photo contest at the show, so it is important for him to be there. He will return after the show and I will fly out to Phoenix and do the Tucson show a couple of weeks later.

I really hate to miss meeting Cheryl and everyone else out there, but I guess you will have to be content with hubby AGAIN. Next year I think we will plan to fly from the outset - just getting too expensive to drive very far these days.

Hope to see all of you eventually!

Here is the Anaheim show info:

That really is a bummer!

That was a pretty serious drive you had planned though. Probably a relief NOT to have to do it! I know it would be for me (I don't like to drive much and can't imagine the drive you had planned!)

I'll be sure to bother Bill again this year~ sorry you'll be missing the fun!

Yeah that is a massive drive. And I still cant believe the gas prices! Well maybe next year :D Im still going to be looking for an albino (reverse) okeetee.

I've got some albino's~ but I don't think there are any left with borders nice enough to call Reverse Okeetee.

I actually sold almost all of them just last night~ but I still have a few females (amels, ghosts and classics with hets).

You can see two of the amels here~ the others don't have pics yet:
available babies

I'll be at the show~ but I won't be a vendor. Just another customer having a good time!
