Anery Opinions

So, I have an Anerthrystic(sp?) Id like to breed when she gets old enough, so my question would be, what male morph should I get for the coolest morph batch? In your opinion? Thanks :D

Do you know if she has any hets? If you don't know, I would probably breed her with a snow, and it would be best if the snow had a few hets as well. That way, if she doesn't have any hets, you'll get still get aneries, but if she's carrying the amelanism gene (which is quite common), you could also get amels and snows. And you could still get more variety if both the snow and she have other common hets.

You might want to check out corncalc.com to see what the odds are for different pairings. And I'd also recommend iansvivarium.com so you can look at the different morphs and see what genes make up each morph.

I actually would look for something that has a bunch of hets, including anery. If you breed to a snow, and your snake has no hets, you get all aneries. With het anery, you get at least two morphs. If you could find a snake that was het anery, amel, motley or stripe, bloodred maybe- you might hit any of those.
