I purchased ten feet (10') of three inch (3") Flexwatt and five feet (5') of eleven inch (11") Flexwatt. (The three inch tape was the 10w from Matt Graybeal.)
I plan on building a five (5) level Cornsnake rack this weekend. This would be a sideways open rack system made of studs and plywood utilizing Sterilite 32qt boxes with lids. (This setup also allows for dual-15qt boxes on each level.)
The Flexwatt would run underneath the box from the front of the rack to the rear.
The snake room is usually kept around 75ºF day and night. Sometimes higher. Sometimes lower.
So my question is this:
Would a single strip of three inch (3") Flexwatt be enough to properly heat the enclosure under these conditions?
(This will be my first homemade rack.)
Thanks In Advance,
Chris
