Another one of those feeding questions

I have been doing pretty good with my little guy (er.. or girl?), but I am generally paranoid. He was 22g before last feeding and was getting two 3g pinkies if I could find them. (have to drive an hour to the only place that has something between 2g and 5g) So, the previous feeding I gave him two 2g pinkies and one 1g(or 2g.. it couldn't make up its mind on the scale) figuring that was close still 6g, but it was three pinkies.

So this last feeding I was scared I was powerfeeding him. So I gave him two 2g pinkies. They barely made bump and he was out roaming in way less than 24 hours. He has been hunting like a mad man since, which is very unusual.

To me the two small pinkies just didn't cut it, please do correct me if I am wrong. I certainly do not want to overfeed him. Would it seem acceptable to feed him the three small ones until I can get more acceptable sizes? (there is a reptile show this weekend and I am hoping I can get some while I am there) Also, should I feed him tonight (day four) or wait until tomorrow on day five?

Any help would be great for the overthinking and paranoid! :crazy02:

I think it's fine to feed three pinks that total 6g. I would feed at five day intervals. When you buy more mice, see if you can get some peach fuzzies. You don't want to jump right up to regular fuzzies. Usually, if you buy a bag of fuzzies at a show there will be a variety of sizes included.
