Another 'Pics' Request

I have finished creating a cultivars page for my website (here), and want to add pictures links for all the different color morphs. Problem is I don't (YET) own many of the newer morphs or good examples some old stand-bys! I'd like some of the best examples of these morphs.

I'd like permission to use some of your pics out there for this project. I'd prefer them to be 700 pixels wide as that's the general size I've used for most of my pics. (It's a nice size to view, but also smaller memory-wise. I can change them if need be.)

Please, if you'd like, feel free to photoshop your name (or website/email) or whatever other credit you'd like into the picture as well. I want to be sure that whoever offers up pics gets the credit!

I plan to start working on the pic links on Sunday, so you can check the page after that to see if theres a cultivar that I don't have yet that you'd like to share a pic for.

Specifically, pics I would need are: (and you can either post them here, which would inidcate you don't mind if I use your pic, or just email me at [email protected])

I'll try to get a few pics for you this weekend. I can throw in Sunkissed, Lava, and Ultra, and probably quite a few others, but I don't want to hog all the pictures.

I would suggest dropping the term "Ultra Amber" in favor of "Ultra Caramel."

I bet Joe will also suggest using the term "Ice" instead of "Ice Ghost." (I'm with Joe on that one.)

Quick thanks to all who've helped out so far, and an apology for not getting anything done on my cultivars page as of yet. We've been hit with a nasty 'bug' here at home, and it knocked out the whole family for a few days. Been just getting on my feet here today. I'll hopefully start getting pics added to the page the coming weekend, along with all the genetics information that has been updated by Don and Serp so far.

How did you make the "notary stamp" on your pics? That is so cool. I am used to working in Photoshop but by no means an expert. If you can give me a basic run down, I have access to experts to explain things to me.

I made the actual graphic using an old 3-d program called Truespace. That rendered out the image as a BMP which I can use in graphics programs like photoshop. (I use an old version of PSP, personally.)

In PSP, the embossed notary black & white image is pasted in as a transparent layer on top of the photo, with anywhere from 20% to 50% transparency, depending on how well it shows through.
