Hi All,
I just need some advice on my snake, she layed slugs around a month ago and is feeding and doing fine as normal.
However there still seems to be an egg inside her it has moved down her body over the last few days and it feels quiet big, I just wondered if this is normal? she doesn't seem uncomfortable and isn't acting strangely, the bulge in her body doesn't seem to be causing any pain or discomfort.
Has this is my first time in experiencing a snake laying, a month since she layed and still an egg inside seems odd to me but I just wanted to know if I need to seek a vet or let it take a natural course?

I would definitely see a vet ASAP. If it is a slug it needs to be aspirated and pass as so not to cause harm to your snake. Some of my slugs were as hard as marbles and I was fortunate they were so small that they could pass them.
