Any ideas what it could be?

Is is a bloodred or something else?

Bloodred. What confuses you? The belly is clear (of checks) but has an orange wash. The sides of the snake are clear of pattern quite far up from the belly toward the spine.
 
Hi Nanci, just the coloring threw me off. compared to my female and the pics i have seen it is very orange. thanks for the confirmation though
 
The color of the "red" can vary greatly, from orangy red to deep dark red. Sometimes hypo bloodreds are really orange, and sometimes a "clear" red (no black borders, fewer visible saddles) but still a true red, not orange.
