Anyone know if there are any herp show's in the uk I live in County Durham? Got to be a Sunday though. Thanx
 
The only one I know of is the IHS Breeder's meeting in Bradford which is today(28th April). Apart from that, I don't think there is any shows anytime soom. I'd iove to be told otherwise though.

I have recently revived my HerpShows.com site with a new calendar format. If the promoters of the shows will submit their show information to me, I can try to keep it as uptodate as possible.

id really like to go to a show aswell

WHY ARE THERE SO FEW SHOWS OVER HERE IN THE UK?!?!?! its really annoying!! I live in grimsby (anyone familiar???) Is there a website containing any info on UK herp shows??? i would be greatful to know!!:D
 
The reason why theres so few Herp shows in the UK is because of some Animal Welfare Groups like Animal Aid very much oppose to them. Even if a show does get a license granted for one the Anti-Reptile people will go to great lengths to get them shutdown like complaining to councils about the risk of contracting salmonella from reptiles. The only ones which go on now is the IHS Breeder's Meetings which take place about twice each year, but they dont release the details of time, place etc. until the last moment because of the intervention from the anti's.
