Can't Keep A Secret
... that consistently uses their water bowl as a toilet? :nope:

I have one that does it EVERY TIME. Reggie. He's driving me crazy! LOL

The others have hit their water bowl every now and again, but not with nearly the frequency and accuracy that Reggie does.

On the plus side, I rarely have to spot check his substrate.

... blech.

That is kinda cool, actually (aside from the whole.. water contamination bit). It's almost like he's been potty trained.

I don't have any that do that, but 4 corns in a row now have pooped inside their shed skin!!!!

We call that a "poop burrito" in our house.

We have some that poop in their water dishes but look at it this way, it makes for easy cleanup. Just make sure as mentioned above to spot check them more regularly and clean the water dishes thoroughly because of possible bacterial contamination.

All the time!! Mostly my babies, they go for a nice relaxing swim and well everything relaxes... lol. I think I now suffer from obsessive check, clean and refill water dishes disorder :)

My girl prefers to poop during handling. I've been told to not handle her until after she poops, but I count down the 48 hours after feeding, and just keep a towel on hand. :) ....this is why I need another snake, but the hubby is still unconvinced.

Good to know I'm not the only one.

And since I wasn't clear, of course I do continue to spot check and clean regularly. Reggie is actually on a rotating two-bowl system... so that I can put a fresh, clean one in while the other is being soaked, scoured, and sanitized. Which is why he's driving me crazy, because it feels like I'm doing this every other day! ;)
