ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CLASS RINGS

I don't know how much I know about class rings> It has been over 20 years since I got mine.

But, yours looks nice.

Looks very nice but I bet you can get the same thing for less if you shop around. The ring my daughter wants cost around $375 if we go through the company that sends fliers home from the school, or we can go to Walmart and only spend $150 for the exact same thing.

Is that a snake under the gem?? That's freaking awesome. I was always very happy with my classring from HS-- we were the knights, black and gold, so I got a gold ring with an onyx stone.

My parents insisted on me getting one from college (they paid for it because I did not want one and refused to pay for it)-- it looks cool but I don't wear it and it really means very little to me. The one from HS makes me think of all my friends from my year. In college that doesn't matter so much.

I know one thing about HS Class rings... They are important to you. I know mine was...

Then, in my youth, I did something stupid... I pawned it off for a few bucks... it is something I've regretted ever since.

So, "Keep it secret, keep it safe!" and hold on to it always.

Just MHO and my advice...

Ah, that's funny, college meant more to me than high school ever did. I made more friends and really figured out who I was, being on my own for the first time and all.

I didn't bother getting any class rings, it isn't something I'd wear and I'm not the type to buy something that just sits in a box. Except for snakes, that is.

jeez, $400? That's almost what my fist car cost me.

Sweetie, that order form has a LOT of personal info on it.. are you sure you don't want to just cut out the photo and put that up instead...? As a mother, I would be worried.. I know the people on these boards are generally ok, but there's a lot of weirdo's out there.. even if you are a 17 y/o male and capable of protecting yourself...

All concerns aside though, that is a beautiful design.. I especially like the 2009 in flames :)

I wouldn't worry about the weirdos (they're overrated anyway) so much as identity theft. But either way, really good point there.

Yeah, I thought about that after I posted it.. though I would much rather have my identity stolen than some of the other possible things out there if I had to choose.. just for the record.. heh.
