Apollo - Blizzard Progression

salvadorian

creatures are people too!
Hey everyone! I finally got my Guyer Blizzard. He's already big, fat, and active. He's exploring his cage a lot... I think he and Zephyr can smell each other. It's really interesting to watch.

Name: Apollo
Hatched: 8/8/09 (exactly a month before Zephyr)
Brought home: 10/9/09
Morph: Blizzard
Sex: Male

Tell me what you think!

Can't see the pics because I am at school. Does he have a separate cage from you other? If its a Guyer Corn it has to be good! My Ghost has eaten 3 meals for me! Every 4-5 days she starts explorating her cage and I out her in a deli cup and I put that pinkie in and BAM!

Haha yeah he has his own cage, and he already at for me too! I didn't see any food in his belly so I gave him a pinky and IMMEDIATELY that sucker was OUT!
I have a sneaking suspicion that he'll be an escape artist though.....

That's the top of his cage! I have no clue how he does it!

Apollo looks awesome! Congrats to you on getting him. Can't wait to see updates of him in the near future.

Hope you don't mind, but I'm sending you a PM. :)

LOL I am so excited to get some more Guyer corns my self. I am saving now to get my anabelle a het Fire (Bloodred Amel) to be her boyfriend!

He's such a little character! He's always lively and feisty. And for some reason, my little female corn hates him. When she can smell him, she FREAKS out. Any reasoning behind this?

Apollo, Zephyr, AND Salvador are all getting ready to shed! Woo-hoo!

Here's a photo of Apollo. He's got dirt on his nose that I don't know how to remove. You can sort of see his creepy shed-eyes.

Alrighty! Here's a couple of new photos of Apollo... who, by the way, is growing like a weed and eating like a champion! He's absolutely awesome and so easy! He has such a great personality, loves to explore, and will eat immediately every time (unlike a certain other snake... grr).

So here you go! Tell me what you think!
(I finally got a couple of natural light photos)

Hey everyone. Today was feeding day so I have a feeding photo and just one of him being cute!

Also, I was wondering what you would suggest I breed him with in a couple of years? Come the warmer months, I want to get a new baby female that would be a good combo with him. I want something that won't just create normals or amels. Suggestions?

Enjoy the pics - he's getting whiter every day!

Aww he's so adorable. :] Reminds me of my Lazarus when he was a little worm. x] I hope your female gets used to his company. lol!

Haha pretzel on the last pic there! Precious little blizzard..makes me think back to when my blizzard was a baby. Such precious little ones!

Well everyone my computer is finally working and I have a few new photos of the ever-growing Apollo! He's getting huge.. and I love the little/big guy to death. I wish I had a scale so I could find out how many grams he is.. but I started him on fuzzy mice and he loves them and ate on with no problem. Zephyr also ate a small one.

So here he is! My blizzard... on a Christmas cactus! Ohh how festive!
