You can raise the humidity by providing a large water bowl, or misting. It's best to see if the snake sheds ok, and if not, then raise the humidity. The snake should have an area a little warmer, say 80-85F. So you need a heating mat that covers about a quarter to a third of the bottom of the tank, and a thermostat or rheostat to control it (or it will get up over 110F) and a thermometer, preferable probed, to monitor the temp at the center of the heater.
20 _long_. Petco/Petsmart sell one with a sliding locking lid. It's better to buy the thermostat and thermometer and even the UTH on-line. You just pick the one you want and Google it. Petco/Petsmart both sell frozen mice, but they are expensive, but you're only feeding one snake. If you buy frozen mice in bulk, probably the smallest amount of pinks you could buy would be 25-50. Shipping is expensive and not that worth it for such a small amount.
I checked it out and she has some amazing snakes but I'm not too interested in any of them.
Okay but does petco/petsmart sell UTHs and thermostats?
I actually live in Paradise Valley AZ. No good reptile stores here *that I know of*. Mesa wouldn't be a terrible drive but are you familiar with anywhere closer? She probably has a lot more that aren't pictured. I just ordered 2 adults from her and I think she had an '08 female Hypo Lavender for sale at the time...I can't remember what else. Where in AZ are you? I know of a couple decent reptile shops in Mesa (lived there for 18 years). There is a nice shop on Gilbert and University that usually has 25-30 corns ranging from the "basic" morphs to Lavenders and Bloodreds.
They sell UTHs but probably not the thermostats. I got mine here...
