ATTN: Heat for hatchling rack?

JAG 32

look at that face :)
I'm getting into breeding next year and i was wondering what i should use for heat. I'm going to have a hatchling rack. What type of heat source should i use for it. Any help will be appreiciated. Thanks

Use the electric heat tape type stuff that you can buy at a local hardware store with a thermostat. Don't put it under your cages, sliding them out will wear down the heat tape. Don't put it over for the same reasons and more. Behind the containers would be your best bet.

I was thinking about building a bigger hatchling rack with Flexwatt heat tape.
And put the heat tape under the boxes.
Is sliding the boxes over it realy bad?

Here mine currect hatchling rack with only space for 36 hatchlings, which was ok for the first two years,
but next year I have 6 females ready for breeding.
I use heating wire for this one, but the source no longer have them.
