Aurelia (children's python) Update (w/ pics)!!!

Reptilian Goddess
OKay so it's been so wonderful having this little girl around! I am even more in love! Her heat lamp is the red nighttime one so sometimes I watch her in the middle of the night when she doesn't know it. She's really active even during the day. She loves to climb and explore.

I've been handling her every other day for 10 minutes with gloves because she was a bit nippy at first but now she is sooo good! She can seize up in the S position but within seconds she relaxes. She even climbs right onto my hand willingly! I just love her to pieces! Here are some pics of her and the jelly she's named after!

She's gorgeous. I had a really tough time deciding between spotted and children's pythons. I ultimately went with spotted but I still love the red-brown color children's tend to have. Just like corns they seem to be a little nippy and scared when small but they get over it fast.

Thanks for the compliments everyone! Her little ego swells every day I swear... I got her at the Sacramento Reptile Expo in Cali. Her breeder was Ron's Reptiles. I don't think they have a website but they were really nice and very knowledgeable.
