Baby Blythe

Thanks for all the wonderful comments guys!

Well, if I stumble upon a pair of cb (that's captive-born, if you're reading, Lil) Xenopeltis unicolor, your suspicions will only be reinforced! :grin01:

Great looking snakes! But even the "dwarfs" are too much for me. I won't be copy-catting you on those... ;)

Well, that's all interesting, but academic; it has no bearing on ME... :sidestep:

Like I said, get in touch with the Barkers at VPI. They bred CB sunbeams once upon a time.

Appologies for writing academically, but I use the latin name for almost all the snakes I own. It's much easier not to get mixed up that way, and if people want to do a search on google based on something I have posted then far more results will show with the latin name.

Eee I love Blythe I wish she would stay that little, I know you don't but I love the thought of a compact but solid looking snake.

She will stay tenny weeny anyways! I think shes just tooo small at the moment. I feel like I may break her everytime I pick her up LOL.

Hah! No, I didn't mean it that way. I appreciate the latin names-- it eliminates confusion. I meant "academic" in the sense meaning "impractical", because of course, I'm not getting these anyway (yeah right). ;)

I love the shape of her head :)

And yet again one of many beautiful looking snakes you own!:bang:

Wow...just WOW! She's bee-yoooo-tiful! Nice pickup, I've never heard of this species before, but I'm in love!

Thank you everyone! Heres a picture of her full tummeh from last night and her weekly spray. They don't like humidity in the box, but they need moist skin. Shes just such a low maintanence snake... I love her!

I had never heard of these snakes before this thread, she really is one stunning, petite girl. Great pictures as usual :)
