Baby corn snake not eating?

I'm just curious but why are you so reluctant to just take him back to the person who sold it to you and demand your money back? I'm surprised in this whole 2 page thread with all the discussion, you seem to be unwilling to even try that.

Also, here is a video I found of a guy feeding a baby corn snake for the first time. The snake is only 8 days old and looks to be about the size of your's. Anyway, if you watch this video, it might give you some ideas. I'm just trying to help you, but if it was me, I'd carry the snake back.

I don't want to take the snake back. I travelled miles and miles to get the snake and I only paid £10 for him. There's no point and I don't intend on giving the snake I've grown to love away. The guy is moving house and I still have his email, so I've emailed him to give him a piece of my mind. But, there's no way in hell I'm giving my snake child back :p Thank you for the video, however, I'll be sure to look into it.

My corn will be 4 months old on Tuesday. He weighs 13 g and is 14½ inches long. He eats every 5 days (yes, he's gaining weight) and soon I'll be bumping his food up a notch (at 15 g) ... so every snake is different. Mine is just growing slower! :)

YUP !

If you just got him last week, maybe you should let him settle in for a week, and then try feeding again. You haven't even given him a chance! One week, no handling, no staring at, no carting off to see "reptile experts." Then put him in a tiny closed container with a very tiny pink, that you have thawed by putting in boiling water. Cover him up, don't check for an hour. Feed in the evening.

I had to use a small paper lunch bag (taped up tight) for several feedings, but it worked! Now he eats out in the open. But for a while he needed to be left alone.
