My friend just purchased a new female ball python, it was sold as a pastel, but it's a really dark and golden colour and we are unsure if it is in fact a pastel or a normal. what do you think?

well regardless of pastel or normal he got this amazing bp for 40$ because of the fact we have given this small reptile shop so much of our money :p
 
Definitely a good price either way. Now you guys should buy a pastel male to go with her so you can prove she is or isn't a pastel. ;)

I think she is gorgeous btw.
 
well regardless of the morph she is a gorgeous snake with a great personality, i liked her so much that i went and picked up a female spider from the same guy (though paid a bit more still got a good deal for a spider) and love her just the same :p hope to get pics on asap. thanks all for your opinions, i'm still undecided, but for the price whether its normal or pastel, it was still a steal :p
