ok, so I bought this tunnel thing from pet store made out of tree. So obviously there's bark. Bark bad for snakes? I'd hate to remove it, my corns LOVE hiding under and crawling over...

Without seeing pictures its hard to tell but I suspect its probably the same type of bark hide that I purchased from Petco that my lil guy loves then its ok.

Those hides are great, especially when they are on sale! I have the X-large one for my blue tongue skink :)

Yes, they love those hides! That is a big one, you want to have hides that aren't too big; corns like to have something touching their entire bodies when they are in them, they feel more secure with a smaller hide than a larger one.

That bark hide is fine, the roughness helps them shed. Just make sure any hide or decoration you use has no sharp edges; rough is fine, you just want to make sure they can't poke themselves.
