OK, so after an afternoon spent phoning and visiting local, and not so local pet shops, it seems nobody near me sells thermostats or rheostats. I'm leaning towards the ReptiTherm 500, but may end up settling for the Zoo Med Rheostat instead, as I only have the one tank. My question now, can anyone recommend the best/cheapest place to purchase one online? Cheap shipping would be nice too, as I'm in Canada... I'll more than likely end up purchasing a few other things to make it worthwhile... Perhaps some Canadians(Toronto area) will see this and have a suggestion?

THANX

What's your price range? Are you needing more than one?

Only need one and price range isn't necessarily an issue, but I think I'd be better off with something simple and basic, as this is my first snake. I've heard good things about the Reptitherm and I know that they go for about $25 at most places online... What were you thinking?

Don't waste money on the Zoo Med rheostat, it does not go low enough to keep the UTH low enough for corns.

If you can't get the ReptiTherm or another thermostat, go to a hardware store or walmart equivalent and get a lamp dimmer (which is a rheostat).
