Best place to get a scale.

Always mostly awesome
I've used length as a general indication of a snakes growth and chose food size by girth but as my collection expands I've wanted to get a scale. Also it would be nice as a reference to know what people are talking about when they say 150 grams, I can only guess that that's probably about 2 feet or something. I thought I could probably get a good scale at a marijuana supply shop but I refuse to support those stores. Any ideas? I live in Edmonton Alberta if anyone around here knows of a particular store.

The cookery department of any store should sell digital scales that have a tare function. This lets you put your tub on, then zero the scale and add snake. Here's Buck modelling my scales I got in a woolworth's

I use a scale for weighing food. I just place a bucket on, zero the scales, slip the snake in the bucket and your away! :)

I did a bit of searching to find a scale that was both able to weigh my adults and hatchling snakes fairly accurately (within 2 grams) that was also reasonable priced. Target had one that fit my needs and budget, plus I was able to order it on-line.
