So I finally made it.:D

I drove three hours from my old home to my new home in Columbus, Ohio. I'm excited and a little scared. I've always lived in a small town and Columbus, seems well BIG. And I still have to find a job....uggggh.:awcrap:

I have a lot of unpacking and organizing to do but I thought I would drop in and see if anyone lives in or around Columbus
and/or
Is anyone going to the All Ohio Reptile Show in Columbus on the 20th

Woot! Those are my stomping grounds! You'll love it, trust me. I've lived in UA, Clintonville and Grandview. It's just an awesome town with tons to do. Where are you? Unfortunately, you missed the gallery hop this month, which is when all the galleries in the Short North are open late, but definitely try to make one. The first friday of every month. The holiday hop is especially awesome!

I'm so jealous. I'd love to move "home."

I remember when I moved from Kansas to North Carolina...I had with me at the time a sunglow motley corn I packed everything in the truck and strapped the viv in the front seat with me!

I heard about that from my sister's husband. He said it was awesome. And I like around Westerville area.

I had my little guy in a pillow case on the front floor board. I was so nervous because he is just a baby.

20th of September? I knew about the Cleveland show on the 21st...but not the Cbus show!

Yep the 20th! I got my little guy at the Cleveland show in July! But I'm excited about the Columbus show!

airenlow, you plan on making the trip?

I'm in Columbus. And I'm going to have to miss the show, unfortunately. Welcolme to C-bus. I moved here 5 years ago and its been pretty good to me. Watch out for crazy football fans.

I might think about doing that! Maybe I'll go to both. I'll give you a call and let you know!

OR you guys could come to Columbus....or is that wishfully thinking? lol

Thank you! I moved in with my sister who has been here for 5 years too. So I'm sure she will give me the in and outs of Columbus and the crazy football fans......wait I think she is one! hehe

I was planning on it but now I might wait and go to the Cbus show on Oct. 15th. I wasn't going to buy anything so it would be a $100 dollar gas bill for nothing. I'm still thinking about it...

Is Cleveland a decent show?

I went on July 20th and I thought it was pretty good, but then again it was my first show so I have nothing to compare it to.

Are you closer to Cleveland or Columbus?

This will be my first show so I won't have anything to compare it to. I'm in Findlay so I think Columbus is 30 or so minutes closer. I would just go to the Cbus show tomorrow but I've had Sunday requested off from work for 3 weeks.
