Snakes:
Northern Water Snake
Rosy Boa
Spotted Python
Black Racer

Lizards:
None

Turtles:
Three Toed Box Turtle. That was a feeding error. Otherwise known as putting a kernal of corn on your extended finger. Ouch.

Other:

Varoius other birds.
Hamster. On the nose.
Rabbit.

One that sticks out in my memory as a kid- it may be a local name but we call them alligator lizards. Didn't draw blood, but it was a very nasty pinch- or my memory makes it that way.
When I was in Iraq, I slept on a cot in the dust one night in a little place called Al Quaim (I've never seen it written so that might be spelled wrong) on the border with Syria, and I woke up with a little chunk of my eyebrow missing.
Went to the medics, and they told me that it was a camel spider (wind scorpion) bite. (I have some skepticism about this, some soldiers are really scared of them cause they seem to "chase" you, but they just like being in a shadow when the ground is hot)
Whatever it was, I've still got a little scar from it..

Nope, it's not just a local name. They are called Alligator Lizards. I have had some pretty nasty bites from them too. They've got some pretty strong jaws and they don't like to let go.

Snakes: just my California King

I've also been bitten by wild anoles. If we can include bugs, about a bazillion mosquitoes :grin01: , gnats, fire ants, deerflies, and a grasshopper I was trying to feed to an Oscar I used to have.

I've been bitten by:

Ball pythons
Leopard geckos

I've had attempted bites from:

Corn snakes
Ball pythons
Garter snakes

...impressive list. ;)

Just look in a Florida...

field guide and you'll see my list.
A few off the top of my head...
E. Diamondback
Corns
Yellow Rats
Black Rats
Texas Rats
Racers
Coachwhips
6'6" Florida Pine (OUCH!)
Banded Waters
Brown Waters
Green Waters
Garters
Skinks (Five-lined, Broad-headed)
Anoles
Florida Snapping Turtle (luckily I had a thick jacket on and felt only pressure on my arm)
Scorpion (wild)

corn snake, black rat snake, texas rat snake, and diamond back watersnake... I just got a 7 foot red tail boa given to me that I hope never gets his teeth in me lol...

I've been bitten by corns, kings and ball pythons. I must have really offended the king, because it took me at least five minutes to get him off my arm. :grin01:

Well those are some impressive lists.... Mine isn't as much...

Goat - Yeah, they'll eat anything
Horse - swung back and latched onto my calf while riding
Alligator Lizard - clamped down so hard it left a purple heart shaped blood blister
Halibut - after I snuck up on my brother with it, and had it bite him on the butt. It got me when I was releasing it, then it wasn't funny anymore...
Spinner Shark - nicked me when I was taking out the hook
Catfish - stepped on that one
Iguana - wasn't good enough to leave a welt with a tail whip, had to bite me as well
Water Dragon - "Look, he's so tame I can hand feed him"...
Pirrahna - "They aren't that kind of Pirrahna, you can stick your hand right in the tank"...
Both Bi-Polar Cali Kings - yeah, bi-polar
Both '06 Lavender hatchlings - must be the Aztec gene.... :D

Annnnnd here we go...

Snakes:

Black Rat
Grey Rat
Texas Rat
Ball Python

Green Tree Python
Amazon Tree Boa
Several different species of Boa
Honduran Milk
Southern Ringneck
Southern Garter

Lizards
Green Anole
Savannah monitor

That's about it for now, I'm sure the list will grow.

Tiaga at feeding frenzy- left her in her feeding tub for an hour.. Was obviously not long enough to curb her feeding frenzy. Know now to leave her be for about 4 hrs to get out of "feeding mode". Then she's usually alright.

Oh, we can post non-snakes? Then let's add Tegu, anoles, turtles (ouch), 30+ pound catfish, 3 foot pike (really ouch cause I reached down out of instinct to catch it as it was falling and stuck my hand in its mouth of razor sharp teeth), a mama mouse that held on to me by her teeth until she was about 6" off the substrate, dog, cat.

That's some list! Out of curiosity, what's a spinner shark?

I don't recall ever being bitten by a non-snake. Though I have had ducks get my fingers - can ducks "bite?" :crazy02:

A colleague at work once asked me if my snails could bite me. LOL.

When i first was trying to breed mice i went to pick on up, it latched down on my thumb, i picked my hand up and it still would not let go, i i was swinging my hand around and smacking it on the sides of its 10 gallon, after about 10 or so hits on each side of the tank she finally let go, took a nice "cube" chuck out of my thumb, i never knew my skin was so think there.......

Actually, yes they can (apple/mystery snails anyway). They actually do have teeth to help bite parts of plants and scrape algea off the side of the tank. If you have ones that are big enough you can see their teeth as they go along the glass (I used to raise them). It doesn't hurt but it does tickle when they try to bite you (not the same as a snake bite though).

Good to know us little kids (then) had the name right..
I don't see those aligator lizards around anymore. Or the toads that used to be common...
Sad.
