i got a brand new corn today called samus!! does anyone out there have any cool snake names?

Congratulations! Great name! I think the most interesting snake name I have is my GTP's name is Rune because of all the "rune-like" markings he has right now. My corn's name is Casper can you guess what color he is? Most of my other snakes are named after movie characters.

How exciting. Being a mom of two boys, I recognize Samus We have an amel named Yoshi. Although we mostly call him snakie, which has now been deemed his middle name. Yoshi Snakie Alonso. Very formal.

If Jeff and i had gotten a male snake we were going to name it Trogdor (still plan to use that name when we finally pick out a mate for our baby girl). Gotta love those Strongbad emails, they crack me up.

I used mayan names for my aztecs, and one Native American name. C.S. is for Christmas Snake (we got her last Dec.) and it's also coincidentally short for.....cornsnake....imagine that!

well my male was originally called Zachary but changed it to a more snakie name, so hes now named Scales. LOL.
my eldest female is named Skitzy coz shes skitzoid. then theres poppy (it used to be my dads snake so he named her) and diaga for my baby girl, i actually got her name from a wildlife programme, there was this anaconda who was gravid through the most dryest time of the year (cannot remember what country it was thogh, but definitely a hot country), anyways long story short, the anacondas name was Diaga and i just loved it. lol

Except Gertrude...she was named after my Great Aunt...they are both fiery women.

The rest of us call her Gertie.
My two year old son calls her "Gooey"

It has begun to stick...oh, well.

Hi, this is my first post as well as the first time i have had a snake. i decided to name my snake Holden, partly because one of my favourite books is catcher in the rye and also i think holden kinda suites a snake.

Well our snakes official name is Sweetness after the great Walter Payton (yes we are diehard Bears fans) but I call him Sweets and the kids call him Tiger and snakey.

My two are Storm, she's an anerythistic (grey w/black saddles) and Ivan is a normal corn. I got them right after the hurricane came through our area and it was hurricane Ivan. So I stuck with the storm theme.

book, too!!! Yay! Norbert is named after Hagrid's Norwegian Ridgeback Dragon in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Aelfric is named after a character in Dean Koontz's THE FACE.

My son named our snake Sonic. He loves the game Sonic because the character is fat. Just like our Miami corn. Very fast like Sonic the hedge hog.
