What is it, and what happens during this period?
Before anyone tells me to search...I did. I found an absolute TON of threads telling people what temps to use to force brumation, to force brumation if your snake won't eat, and even discussing whether corn snakes will go into brumation on their own or if the keeper needs to force brumation. But not one of them(that I could find) would tell me exactly what brumation is, does, or consists of.
From what I have read, it appears to be related to breeding and to cooler temperatures...but that is about all I can figure.
Can anyone help me out with this??
