Butter Motley clutch pipping

Old_School

Old School Colubrids
1st pip today.. from a clutch of Butter Motley eggs that I thought looked infertile but I incubated them anyway.. I was pretty sure 3 looked fertile.

Anyway, I just checked em and found this..

Thanks.. yes, this was my first clutch of the season and was disappointed when the eggs were laid, but figured what the heck... I now have 4 little butter heads poking out of the eggs.. waiting to see their patterns :)

To bad you are so far away, I have a beautiful Butter het Hypo, Motley who needs himself a lady to love!!! Do your butters have any hets? Also love the head pattern who it looks like a Chevron.

No Hets that I know of,... but the beautiful thing about corns is you just never know what might pop up! :)

Very true there!!! Can not wait to see them all, so it was a butter motley x butter motley pairing then.

My second clutch is a butter motley x butter motley pairing.

Looks like Murphy smiled on you then, if I am understanding things right because you should have had only 50% of them be Motley and 50% het Motley correct?? No way there could have been some diffusion in the mix you were unaware of that would account for clear bellies??
