Buying from Reptile show- Thoughts?

@zeina
I'm glad you were able to get some supplies and food for the bugger! I've never been to an expo, hopefully I will soon. leopard geckos have the cutest faces ^.^ post pictures of your new set up?:)

I will! As soon as I get this thermometer and UTH hooked in, I'll set it up and post photos!

And the expo was totally cool, I got to touch everything like a little kid lol

Ok so here are the (somewhat grainy cell phone) pictures of little man's new house!!
I wanted to go with the more natural look, and really muted/neutral tones (besides the vivid green plants) because the tiny dude is such a bright red/orange color, I want to make sure he is the focal point of his habitat! And I believe his colors will pop with the green, too.

Right now, I have the UTH on and the probe on it to make sure both are working, and then I will place them in his tank.
Tomorrow I meet him and Monday he comes home! :dancer:

As you can see by my fish tank photo bombs, I like very clean lines and very clean tanks!
I scrubbed the mess out of his new tank and accessories, and I even found a very large seashell while walking on the beach (Totally intact and no holes!) that I'm soaking and considering putting in his tank, too!

Sounds like your new little guy will be a lucky one. I have to give you a quick 'hi' though because you're from my home area. I grew up in Mary Esther. :) We just got our first corn baby in July at our first expo here in NC and now we have FOUR!

Oh snap!! Haaaaay!
I wish I grew up here, I just moved here 4 months ago from North Central Florida/Orlando-ish area- I did it for love :p
It's gorgeous here, and hello, the beach is practically my backyard! I used to despise the beach before I moved here, now I'm just awed by how gorgeous it is in the part of Florida.

I have a feeling that if I love this snake as much as I know I will, there will be more in my future :p

I lived there from 1980 to 2002. It was pretty decent growing up there but I just don't jive well with the heat/humidity of FL and not having real winters with snow. I have learned I need snow LOL.

Love your new little guy's motley markings. Our first was our caramel motley and he is still my favorite. I never knew just how much fun snakes could be before him (and addictive!). :)

Of course, your babies are beautiful!

And I've never seen snow before, but I'll be in Northern Alabama for Christmas this year, and I'm really hoping to see my first snowfall!

Oh, I am so excited for you! I love seeing newbies getting their first "fix". Anything you need, just ask!
