Can a snake go blue then not shed?

Hi everyone,

A couple days ago my snake's eyes were definitely blue and his skin looked cloudy like he was about to shed, so that's normal. But now I picked him up today and his eyes were clear and his skin seemed less cloudy, but still it didn't look like he shed. I looked through his whole cage, couldn't find shed skin. I'm being kinda paranoid and idk if he had a shedding problem or not. Maybe it just takes longer than I thought?

It's been a hectic week with me moving into college and stuff so I didn't know if that could upset his shed schedule. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks in advance!!!

I too am having this problem. My female went blue last week and has still not shed. She has been clear for the past 3-4 days. She usually sheds a day after she goes clear. I just moved and got a male snake and was wondering if she is too stressed to shed and if I should be worried? Any advice would be appreciated.

They'll shed, don't worry about it. I have a couple snakes that shed under their aspen- you could always check that, but most likely, they just haven't shed. They can't stop shedding because they are stressed.

it took yoshi almost 8 days to shed after the blue. i was getting worried as well...but i came home yesterday and he was all bright and shiney! i guess sometimes it takes longer.
