Talasi was a very slow starter, but she's growing well now, pounding rat pups like there was no tomorrow! She's het butter and 50% het stripe...an older project but she's worth keeping and testing for that stripe gene at least once.

She's gorgeous!! I just love caramels! Was never a fan until I actually got one! lol Now I am totally hooked!!

For a variety of reasons...they have a higher fat content for those snakes that need the extra boost or I want to grow a little faster, they're the only things my rodent colonies are currently producing (my mice don't like the major heat), I have them in the right size for most of my subadults (adult mice too big...I need small-med mice), and I was able to get a bunch on sale from RodentPro (even my rat production is down due to the heat) for less than I could for their equivalent size in mice.
