Christmas Corn?

VegasGhost

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was reading somewhere in a book about a christmas corn snake, but really haven't seen any other information about this morph. Does it possibly go by another name? Are they being bred? Where can you get one? Or, was I given inaccurate information? Would totally love to have one, if they do exist...sounds kinda cool!

thanks, Nicole;)

Someone else "recently" asked about Christmas corns. Enter this in a search and you should get some info.

Already looked at that information...only thing it really turned up was that LLL Reptile has some christmas corns and they do have some for sale, but no other information on them except a picture...which doesn't show what an adult might look like...the one they had pictured had no green and very little black. Just trying to find some information on the christmas corn, because there really isn't much out there on the christmas corns.

X-mas corns

I saw a X-mas corn for sale at the Hillsboro show in Feb. LLL had the snake, I asked for some info but the guy told me it was too new to be sure (he didn't know). It looked pretty much like a normal with just a slight lightening of the black. The sales rep said it would turn a greenish color as it grew.
I've seen these advertised for several years now. That's plenty of time to prove if it is a genetic trait. I'm very skeptical of new morphs when no one seems to have pics of adults or any specific info of breeding proceedures.

Personally, I think buying into this non-morph would be somewhat like getting lumps of coal and switches in your stocking, genetically speaking. I would be very cautious!

I am aware that this is an older thread, but there may be more info now then there was in 2003 (I hope). I would like to know more about the Christmas Corn and see if anyone knows who Dewey and Dewey Reptiles are? I was told they are a company in California. Any information is appreciated. Thank you and have a great weekend.
