Classic or Okeetee???

Well, an Okeetee is a variation of Normal (classic). However, it is a difficult question to answer because different people consider different things "Okeetee" It began as a term used to describe corn snakes from a particular location, typically that possessed a particular appearance (i.e. thick black borders, bright vibrant colors, etc.). However, the look has been reproduced using non-native corn snakes, creating "Okeetee phased" corn snakes that do not have the background of locality.
So, do you know where your snake came from?? :grin01:
I think it would be very safe to say that you have a BEAUTIFUL Okeetee phase corn snake. Or you could just call it a BEAUTIFUL Classic. OR, you could disregard what all the sticklers have to say, and their technicalities, and just call it a BEAUTIFUL Okeetee.

Mine's only a hatchling but does have a similar orange stripe down his back and very very similar saddles. He's a normal (personally I think there's nothing normal about him). I think the answer 'A BEAUTIFUL cornsnake' is pretty good I hope my little guy grows up to look as good as yours!

They're unlikely to get thicker with age relative to the saddles. They're already thick enough to qualify.
