Cleopatra - '06 Taiwan Beauty

RobbiesCornField

Bring it on.
I caught Cleo climbing around in the arboreal section of her tank, and couldn't help but snapping a few pictures. Sorry about the pic quality... my camera doesn't like metal wire...

P.S. She's nowhere near full grown. She should hit between 7-9 feet long as an adult. She's probably barely scraping the 3.5 - 4 foot mark.

She sure is pretty, Robbie! How thick around would you say she is? I really wish I could have another Taiwan Beauty snake... but with all my corns, that's probably not gonna happen! LOL.

My VBB is about a year and 3 months old and she's about 4 feet long now. She should top out at between 10 and 13 feet long (her parents were HUGE).

Don't you just love how active they are?

Congrats!

Cleo likes to spend most of the day in her pyramid coming out at night to climb around. And she's probably about 7/8" around. She's a bit thicker than the dowel rod in with her, and that's about 5/8"

And on a side note, I would love to find a male TB for her, and get a pair of VBB's.

a humidity loving snake like her wouldnt benifit from it do you still have her

No, I do not still have her. And yes, she was plenty humid enough. She was on cypress bedding, and her humidity stayed between 60 and 80%, and going up to 100% during a shedding period. I did this via close monitoring and misting.

why is it whenever i comment i get crap

I'll be more than willing to show you why.

why is the beauty snake in a wire cage I heard thoses are bad for snakes

This post could have instead said "That's an interesting cage, but how is it beneficial to your snake?"

a humidity loving snake like her wouldnt benifit from it do you still have her

Right here, you could have said "I thought they liked a higher humidity. How do you keep it up?" By saying it like you did, it sounds like you're trying, again, to sound like you know more than everyone.

why dont ya have her anymore

Given past posting history between the two of us, it would not have surprised me if this right here turned into a very ugly disagreement/argument.

Another thing I would like to note is that punctuation and proper grammar are very highly rated around here. If you manage to type/write like an adult, we're more likely to take your posts seriously. Not punctuating/capitalizing/txt-style-typing is mostly the language of the trolls, so people tend to ignore or automatically assume the worst with those types of postings.

I type like a LOLcatz. I keep my baby beauty in a 20 gallon long with a lot of branchs

There is a time and a place for everything. On the general forum, a certain sense of professionalism is appreciated. If there's a full-on nonsense, don't really care area, by all means use the LOLSpeak.
And that sounds like a good setup for your Beauty. Is it an '08?
