Sometimes you just get the feeling that your efforts setting up egg laying boxes is just not appreciated by those girls......

I can't figure out how she did this arrangement like she did. And THEN she goes off into the box!

Very nice 'banana' you've got there. I wonder why she didn't go into the nesting box to lay the eggs.....

maybe she's too much of an artist and couldn't stand the lack of space in the nesting box so she took the 'art' outside.
 
What's a Mother to do?

"Let's see, am I supposed to lay my eggs as I go into this box? Or as I come out of it? I can never remember. Oh well, this feels right."
