COMPLETELY DEVASTATED DEAD SNAKE

First off I'm sorry for your loss. Those unexplained deaths are hard to take regardless of the circumstances.
Like many have said before Graham is one of the most honest, nice, decent guys you will ever find in this business. He, like any good breeder, would want to know about this asap. I'm sure he will take care of you either with a replacement animal of the same morph if he has any or some other animal. That's how most good breeders do things and Graham is one of the good guys. Always remember we are dealing with living creatures and bad stuff happens to the best of people. Sit tight and wait for Graham to get back to you. He should be given a chance to make things right before you buy from someone else. And may I request that when he does make things right, you let the community know that he did, so as to keep his good reputation in tact.

Terri
EDIT: Based on new info further on in this thread, IMO Graham has nothing to make right.

While I do feel terrible that the golddust died, I'm going to play Devil's advocate here for a moment. It was a free extra snake, though, wasn't it? You weren't expecting it in the box with your Okeetee, Graham added it as a bonus if I remember from another post. While it would great for him to make it up to you, I don't see that there's any expectation on his part to replace a free, bonus snake. It's unfortunate that it didn't survive, but it happens.

GIRLFRIEND SPEAKING HERE.....
hes not IN ANY WAY expecting Graham to replace the golddust. lets make that clear. it was free! that was extremely nice of him to send us an extra snake in the first place. if Graham feels that he wants to replace him then he will. if not, then he wont. simple as that. it was very unfortunate that he died before we got to hold him or play with him but some survive some dont. its a part of life. yes its very very sad but unexplainable things DO happen.

In my experience, most people don't go through the trouble of photographing a dead snake so much unless they want to be compensated by the breeder. I'm glad that's not the case. It seems like you're taking this better than your boyfriend was making it out. To replace this little one, you can try LLL Reptiles. I think they're in your area. I've had only good experiences with them. Best of luck with your Okeetee and blizzard!!

we didnt take photos of him because we wanted him to replace him, we took them just to show Graham. we had no intention of expecting him to be replaced but if he decides hes wants to send us another that would awesome. but that was nowhere near either of our intentions. and we are both taking it pretty hard seeing as it is our first loss together. :( and yes we got the tank from LLL at the show in anaheim a while back. they were extremely nice and cut us a few deals as well. thank you for your concern and the okeetee (punkin) is doing great. she is very active roaming about her tank.
