Concerning email notifications in personal forums..

As a rule, I set it up so that the moderators for a personal forum are automatically notified if someone posts within their forum. This is for a couple of reasons. (1) I think you would want to be aware of such postings as a courtesy if you don't check in frequently, and (2) If malicious spam shows up in your forum, you may want to delete it ASAP.

However, if someone specifically does not want to get those notifications, please let me know and I will disable it for you. It is NOT required that you get them, just a recommendation.
