Anybody else having troubles getting connected here? I've been receiving this for a few hours:

I was having that trouble earlier, too. I was just able to get on a couple hours ago.
 
i suppose the server may have been overloaded or down for a bit? occasionally systems need to reboot. i dont think it was due to traffic on here because from the sounds of it nobody was able to get on :) i myself tried for quite a while and yet was unsuccessful. many times before this ive also gotten that "Server is busy......... try later....." message but i just refresh and i connect. typical internet troubles happens to the best of sites! wouldnt think it would be much to worry about.
 
You should also keep in mind, these forums are not the only thing on this server. In fact Fauna is also on this server and it quite a lot larger!

Plus a few of Rich's other sites as well.
 
Rich mentioned on Fauna that he had to reboot the server a few hours ago. That was probably the trouble.
 
Yes, I did. Matter of fact I made up an announcement on this site to let everyone know what is going on. You guys should read them every now and again. Might be something you need to know there...... ;)

Like the server move scheduled for sometime on Wednesday. I really don't want to get a couple hundred emails from people asking me why they can't post messages when I set the forums to be READ ONLY. :rolleyes:
