Thanks, Jim for letting me post this picture of some of the "coral ghosts". drool!

Whoa.

Dern, Don.
You sure can tell which ones are which in that clutch, huh?
Very interesting. Great looking snakes.

Shakey . . .

I wish those were mine. That picture was emailed to me by Jim Stelpflug at SWR and those snakes are his. Like you, I'm jealous. I have some from those lines and am eager to produce some of those "coral ghosts".

I don't know how they look as adults. I'll needle Jim to get a picture of one if he has a really pink one. Many of them have a little pink, but I'd love to see the one pictured above as an adult.

Wait,...

UNless Jim's been holding out for several years, he probably crossed 2 hets to get those, wouldn't you say. My guess is that he's waiting to see what they'll look like as adults, too.

At the risk of sounding foolish, I want to say it looks like ice cream.

You mean like "strawberrry" ice cream? ? ?

SWEET!!

That's all I have to say about that one! Going to need sunglasses to look at that one when it's an adult if that pink just gets better as it grows. WOW!

Don,

AWESOME !!! Yeah, it would be really cool if you could get Jim to send you a pic. of an adult and let you post it.

Saffice it to say, I'm glad to have gotten that female Ghost along with the Coral Snows. Coming from the same line makes it just that much better !!!

Hope to see an adult !!

Walter ;)

Don, doesn't Jim have a line of corns he calls "Strawberry"? What's the story on them, and do they play a part in these coral ghosts?

Thanks

Yes,

He has a line he calls strawberry. I'll try to find out more about those. I have some and do sell them. As it is with most "new" morphs, each generation brings forth a new piece of evidence of its origins or genetic mechanism.

strawberrys are what a lot of breeders from england sell here at our shows. I bought two and raised them a few month and finally sold them ... nothing against these coral snows

coral ghost!

it was about 5 or 6 years ago when I had seen my first coral ghost it was when Tim rainwater was sellin the last of his corns, he had another guy selling them and there was one that had a solid pink background with brown saddles I really liked it but it was the only one they had and the price tag on it was 2000 dollars, which at the time was way out of my price range,it would be interesting to know where they originated, got any ideas Don?

nope.

No idea. I've seen them here or there. I think I've seen about three, but no idea what ever happened to 'em. Now that the forums are connecting more of us, they'll start showing up again. I understand alot of those snake Tim had didn't fare too well at the end there. Maybe that one's in snake heaven.

Wow..
nice looking~

but what exactly is a coral ghost?

I know that coral snows are hypo, amel, and anery

but what is a coral ghost?
