You mean you want to buy a corn from a good source??

I would shop on line, and pick up something from the breeder we have here on this forum!! Or you could go to a show, here a link to one this comming weekend. http://www.northernberksreptileshow.com

Another route to go is to check out the up and comming shows/ expos, listed on the bottom page here http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/

Scroll down and check out each show and look at the vendors list to see what state they are base out of.

I know some morphs are illegal that's why i wanted breeders in nj pa or ny not just nj

Well good then...
but are you seeking a breeder that you can meet in person??
Is that the resaon you need someone from either NJ, PA or NY??

I order three of my snake on-line. I figure I saved money by not having to drive!!

Yeah if you's dont mind driving, i highly suggest the hamburg or lancaster shows. I recently moved to PA for college from south jersey and ive picked up some quality herps there. Great shows, knowledgeable people and fun to see all the things :D

The Lancaster one?
Ill be at both the Lancaster one and the Hamburg one.
They put on great shows and you meet ALOT of knowledgeable people... but then again you get those A-Hole people who have stands and sell un- knowledgeable people ripoffs, or bad buys... just know what you want when you go in ;)

who be the bad guys who be the good guys and who are the good breeders:-offtopic is repti bark good if you dry it

Regarding illegal morphs in NJ, I believe (and someone correct me if this is inaccurate) that all morphs with dark eyes are illegal, in other words, pretty much anything that doesn't have amel in it or hypo types with light eyes. That pretty much limits you to a very select few morphs.

Yo.. J dog. I guessing here that you're younger than eighteen.
So ..if you are, you will need to bring your parent or somebody who is legal age with you to buy a snake. Second, you say you know what morphs you can have legally in NJ so I would search the online breeders to check out their prices so you know what price at the show are in range.

Also you're looking for kinks in the snake. You don't want kinks
Also look for mites too. dark black specks like fleas.
Look for an "alert" tongue flicking snake.

So going in there with a price range that you're OK with and don't for get any other supplys you might need. F/T mice, UTH, etc etc.

side note..I prefer aspen for snake bedding.

thanks Lennycorn you are right about the age thing shhhhhhhhh i know my price range is $0-$125ish you never know about what nice snakes will be there don't worry my dads will be there with me
