Corn snake hybrid list

Bairdie Corns have been produced, about 4 or 5 yrs ago I remember someone selling them... Seems to me it was a big game *lol* name breeder that did them..

Brushed steel look of the Texas or the Flame orange like of the Mexican variety.. Of course, with the Mex variety it might make it look like a long skinny orange blood..

I would think the metallic trait would be cool. Orange in corns is already happening. We wouldn't "need" to go hybrid for that lol

Apparently, this is a picture of a corn x black rat, from a website called Chuck Hurd Serpentology. It is supposedly a naturally occurring individual.

possible hybrid

still havent figured this guy out, any ideas since this is a hybrid thread :p (dont mean to hijack the thread, but i really would love to know what he is)

There's a member here who has done that breeding in the past. They're called "Beast corns", and look absolutely nothing like that. Lol

@optreptiles, thats what i was kinda thinking. he has the saddle shape of a thayeri. but i don't know :| hes vicious like alot of king snakes lol

I've done several thayeri x corn pairings and none of them looked like that. The head kinda reminds me of a sunkissed corn and the saddles of maybe a banded corn?

Not to hijack, but does grey rat x corn make anything colorful or interesting? i have an opportunity to pick up a female adult grey rat, and although she possesses a subtle beauty, im interested in making awesome snakes.

Grey rat corn crosses were once referred to as "Frosted Corns". I'm not sure if they are still going by that trade name or not but I've seen frosted corns that were supposably pure. Frosted corns are nice but you need amel or anery in there to really make them shine in my opinion.

With all the genes floating around in the corn world, oddities are sure to pop up that are "pure" corns but don't look like it. If you compare a keys to an okeetee to a sunkissed most non-colubrid people would say they are different subspecies at the very least. A very similar thing happened in gray bands many years ago. A lot of breeders said the alternas and blairs were different species until one days someone hatched a clutch that contained both. Put an end to that debate real quick.
