corn snake morphs

First off i do not know if this would go here or in the classifields, 2nd my question is how much do different corn snake morphs on average cost? Like a miami or lava bloodred or normal or aneristic or okeetee just to name a few.

The cost is going to vary widely based on the quality of the individual (such as the miami-phase and bloodreds) and its hets. For example, while a normal without hets would probably cost about $10 at a show, a normal het palmetto would probably go for a couple thousand.

Het stands for heterozygous. Hets are color genes snakes carry, not the actual color the snake is though.

If you plan on breeding hets are important to know because if you breed 2 normals together that are both het for the same thing potentially some of the babies will look like normals and some will look like whatever the het gene is. That's a short basic answer there's quite a bit more to it than that, but I don't really understand it all :dunce:

A het could also come in form of a pattern mutation as well. Such as motley and stripe ;)
